Who is Zolo Agona Azania?

The imprisonment rate for African-American people in
the U.S. is six times higher than for white people. Even
though Black people make up less than 13% of the
population, they comprise over 50% of the people in prison
and 42% of those awaiting execution. A Black person is
four times more likely to receive the death penalty than a
white person with a similar background who is convicted
for a similar crime, and a Black person who kills a white
person is 11 times more likely o get the death penalty than
if the victim were Black or the perpetrator were white. The
key decision maker with the discretion to seek the death
penalty are the county District Attorneys, 98%, nation-
wide, are white men. The indisputable racist naure of the
criminal justice system and the death penalty, precludes a
fair trial for any person of color facing a capital case.

The death penalty also violates international human
rights law. Other than the U.S., all the industrialized nations
of the world have abolished the death penalty. This near
unanimous consensus is reflected in multi-national
agreements with which all governments should be obligated
to comply. The Second Optional Protocol to the
International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights;
Protocol No. 6 to the European Convention on Human
Rights; and the Protocol to the American Convention on
Human Rights adopted by the Organization of American
States in 1990, each call for the total abolition of the death
penalty.

In addition to those human rights declarations, the
imposition of the death penalty against Zolo Agona Azaniz,
is a further contravention of international law. As one who
was part of the New Afrikan liberation and independence
struggle he is entitled to the protections of the “Laws of
War” codified in the Geneva Convention and the United
Nations General Assembly Resolutions, which prohibit the
imposition of the death penalty upon members of liberation
movements fighting against racism and for self-
determination.

Who Is Zolo Agona Azania?

Zolo Azania is one of the numerous African-Americans
who await execution as a result of a racist criminal justice
system. Moreover he is a politically conscious activist, who
at the time of his arrest and capture in 1981, was actively
involved in the movement for the self-determination of
African-American people. The fact that he defined himself
25 a New Afrikan and was commited to the liberation and
independence of Black people within the borders of the
U.S., directly influenced the way the police, the prosecution,
and the Indiana courts denied him a fair trial and fanned
the flames of prejudice to obtain the death penalty.

Zolo was sentenced to death after his conviction for a
1981 bank robbery and the killing of a Gary Indiana police
officer who was fatally wounded in an exchange of gun
fire with three men who fled from the bank. Zolo was not
arrested at the bank, but miles away walking unarmed down
the street. The prosecution intimidated witnesses,
suppressed favorable evidence, presented false cye-witness
and expert testimony, and denied him the right to speak or
present motions in his own behalf.

The two other men charged and convicted with Zolo
received sentences of 60 years, but because of Zolo's
political history and beliefs, and in order to permanently
silence his militant voice for liberation, the State ignored
the rules of evidence and fair trial to obtain the death penalty
from an all-white jury. The State suppressed a gunshot
residue report showing no residue on Zolo's hands as well
as other favorable scientific evidence, subomed perjury by
telling a critical witness who was unable to make an
identification to identify Zolo, and falsely and sensationally
accused him of firing the fatal bullet, “cxecution-style.”
The trial, which was moved from Lake County (Gary,
Indiana), which has a substantial Black population, to Allen
County (Fort Wayne) with a small Black populace, was tried
amid media and law enforcement hysteria. Armed police
surrounded the courthouse, and uniformed police ringed
the walls and front gallery inside of the courtroom.

Who is Zolo Agona Azania?

Anyone having read the pamphlets written by Zolo, (¢.g..
Who Is the New Afrikan?), or having read any of the articles
he’s written for publications in the U.S., India, Cuba, and
Africa, may be tempted to say that Zolo is a writer — but
that's not entirely truc.

Anyone having seen Zolo's oil paintings, which have
been exhibited in galleries across the U.S. or any of his
artwork which have appeared as illustrations in books
written by others, may believe that Zolo s visual artist —
but that's also not entirely correct.

Zolo uses the written and visual art as instruments of
political struggle — not merely to call attention to himself,
but to raise the political awareness of his people, and to
draw the attention of the world to their fight for self-
determination and independence from U.S. control and
domination. &

During his trial, Zolo declared himself a Conscious
Citizen of the Republic of New Afrika (RNA) — the name
adopted by activists for the historic “black nation” held in
colonial bondage by the U.S. In the appeal of his conviction,
Zolo petitioned the Indiana Supreme Court to recognize
his protected status as an anti-colonial combatant, citing
resolutions of the United Nations’ General Assembly and
the Geneva Convention. Zolo, like all those fighting for
self-determination, from Puerto Rico to East Timor, should
ot have been treated as a criminal, but given a protected
political status.

The use of the death penalty to execute a freedom fighter
Jiolates every basic principle afforded anti-colonial
combatants under international human rights law.

The Indiana courts ignored these pleas and followed
the fallacious policy of the U.S. government, which denies
the political status of Political Prisoners and Prisoners of
War, choosing to criminalize their acts. This policy is
designed to delegitimize the struggles of oppressed peoples,
and to prevent recognition of their political right to
protected status in the eyes of their people and the
international community.

Who is Zolo Agona Azania?

Some people may think that Zolo is a “nationalist.”
because he is a Conscious Citizen of the Republic of New
Afrika (RNA). Zolo is not a “nationalist” as that term is
commonly (and incorrectly) used in the U.S. By definition.
all Conscious New Afrikans are “revolutionary
nationalists,” i.e., non-racists, anti-sexists, anti-capitalists.
socialists, and interationalists. As Zolo has stated, i firmly
support any cause that works in carnest with poor people
regardless of race or religion, in their struggle against
hunger, disease, exploitation and poverty. We need
economic self-reliance, local community control and

development free of corruption.”
Those who know Zolo are broadening their campaign
1o force the State of Indiana to comply with international
law and the U.S. constitution, to immediately cease all
efforts to execute this New Afrikan fighter, and to afford
him political status. ¢

AUTHOR’S PREFACE

This is a collection of eight socioeconomic-political
essays written in a style unique to the author for the
informational, educational, motivational, and spiritual
upliftment of all humanity concerning the general plight
(dilemma) of Afrikan people internationally (worldwide).

The author writes, however, with particular emphasis
upon the oppression of New Afrikan people confined within
the current borders of the United States North Euro-
amerikkkan empire.

‘The New Afrikan is a Black person whose ancestors were
kidnapped from many different Afrikan tribes and brought to
North and South Euro-amerikkka in the holds of slave ships.

When the socioeconomic living conditions of people
in any country (land) are bad, miserable and dehumanizing,
crime grows into a very serious problem. Why? Crime is
the reflection of the existing property relations, a
disproportionate distribution of wealth and privilege. In
other words, somebody is being wrongfully deprived of
basic economic needs.

The working class and the jobless poor are the people
on the bottom class of society. The money and power of the
United States’ Euro-amerikkkan empire is built on the backs
of the working class. Without the working class the slavery
system could not exist.

The small number of filthy rich people at the top of the
United States’ Euro-amerikkkan empire, who privately own
the major means of economic production, are the main
(primary) cause of crime. Their foremost private interests,
in theory and practice, are money and power to exploit the
vital labor force of New Afrikan people for personal gain

(private profits), hook or crook. Conscious New Afrikan
people are struggling to be independent of Euro-amerikkka.

The factual observation of quantitative changes leading
to qualitative changes is the scientific dialectical law of growth
and development. Everything goes through a process of
growth and development. Nothing remains completely the
same. While something is coming into being, something is
dying away. There is nothing in the universe that continuously
remains inert (motionless). Quantitative changes lead to
qualitative results. That is, something that grows in amount,
or in size, develops or changes into a new quality altogether.
Such as a wormlike larva which grows into a caterpillar, spins
itself inside a cocoon and emerges a butterfly or a moth. As
Our Movement grow and develop in the struggle, We will
emerge a new independent Afrikan Republic.

Any type of educational system that doesn't properly equip
Us to effectively fight for Our human rights is the wrong
education. Our New Afrikan Independence Movement shall
be successful. We will win. Each stage of Our development to
achieve freedom from oppression is so different from the
subjugated Afrikan past that it is indeed a new quality and not
2 mere continuation of the slave and slave master or colonized
and colonizer amangement of the old.

The objective of all genuine education is to solve the
serious problem of national oppression. This book is written
as a humble contribution to that end. The author respects
the intelligence and wisdom of the poor and oppressed
masses, to whom this book is addressed, to fight for your
human rights. Fighting for human rights is not a crime, but
to deprive people of their rights as human beings is a crime.

The Dangers Of Living A Phony Life

Broadly speaking, some people do not like dealing with
the truth of reality. They live their life a lie for so long, they
become confused as to what reality is.

There are others who psych (imagine) themselves out
10 believe that people who speak truth and advocate equal
justice for all are up to no good, and thus, should not be
trusted. Others pretend to speak truth and advocate equal
justice for all, they say, and do not.

Furthermore, there are those who develop callous,
insensitive feelings towards the poor (down and out),
oppressed people, simply because they're impoverished.
Some are among those well to do wealthy, powerful people,
who lay up idling, gambling, playing golf, watching
spectator sports (as they did in ancient Greece and Rome).
They eat, drink, and jocose around the clock: sail boating,
water and snow skiing, sun bathing and walking naked and
half naked on the streets, in public parks, on the beaches,
and so on. They pretend not to know that innocent people
are dying unnecessarily, every night, all day, that could be
saved if only they would help. One who thinks this way is
in a disordered frame of mind.

People like this submerge themselves in all sorts of
nonsensical, escapist entertainment as a means to avoid the
truth of reality about the many social and political ills
happening around them. Immature, uncaring, insensitive,
brainwashed, stupid people don’t want to see, read, or hear
anything about truth of the reality of everyday social
problems. They don’t want anything that reminds them of

something they are trying to forget. They deny truth and
continue to follow their psychopathic greed, lust, and vanity
0 the grave. Moreover, truth of reality does not provide
them with an outlet for the escapist fantasies they invent.
Things that remind them of the truth of reality are depressing
and contemptible. This is not living a normal lfe.
On the other hand, many poor people have been living
down on their knees under poverty and oppression for so
long that they simply don’t know how to stand. Some know.
but don’t care, and give up. Others give up because they
can find no way out. There are others who have been down
and out for 50 long that it may seem as though it is abnormal
o feel happy.

The reason for being down and out is not always the
poor peoples” fault. Other causes are to blame such as social.
environmental, cultural, miseducation and economic
devastation. Some of them, however, rather do almost
anything except face truth of reality, do for themselves, and
take control of their own lives.

1f you lie to yourself, you will not take the steps required
to get your life together. Others use alcohol and drugs in
order to escape the truth of reality, which only makes the
problem bigger.

Those who are weak, of unclear understanding, or failure
to comprehend the combination of external physical
conditions, affecting and influencing their lives, must
eventually leam that the standard measure of good, is the
direct opposite of bad. The principle of doing good extends
10 all beings, both great and small, rich and poor. That is
providing for all the things human beings need for a full,
satisfactory, healthy, well fed life.

Pain is a learning process. It consists (is made up) of
many things. Once you've experienced it, become aware
of it by going through it, hurting and suffering, nobody
can take that experience away from you. Because you've
lived it you know the feeling well.

Psychology deals with the study of mental behavior.
Sociology is the study of social behavior. Your brain
controls every part of your mental, emotional and physical
body. Whenever a person (people) consciously does
anything of their own free will, that is what they have an
interest in. That is what they have on their mind at the time.
Your physical actions give strong clues that indicate what

thoughts are on your mind. Furthermore, one’s actions may
be a deliberate plan, designed to deceive or mislead. Your
actions may show one thing, but your thoughts may be
about something else. The end results of the action give an
indication what frame of mind you were in at the time. )0

‘The brain is a highly organized matter. The brain also
has a physiological (material) process in direct relation to
the mind, which is the bio-chemical, electro activity of the
brain. There is one continuous connection between the
brain, mind, and body. You earn a good name by your
upright conduct and upright deeds. Think about it. When
people are doing kind and positive things for themselves,
that is the way they arc thinking. The treatment of oneself
and others must be done with humanity and equal justice.

There are three hundred sixty degrees (360°) a complete
circle. Each single degree is one of a series of steps or stages
in a process, or a course of action, leading up to the next.
What goes around comes around. You reap what you sow.

Psychological or mental breakdowns are related to living
phony identities, which disturb one’s thinking, feelings and
behavior. No one is happy if they have to be phony with
others. Lying and deceiving oneself is worst of all. Wake
up everybody. Truth of reality is here, the eternal now, all
the time. Glamour and prestige are an illusion. What seems
10 be one thing can, in fact, be something else. You are
unable to run away from yourself, because you are unable
10 run away from truth of reality.

The poor and oppressed, who try to live the glamorous
life, over a period of time, often develop mental and
emotional disorders. Megalomania is one such disorder of
one’s way of thinking and feeling. Megalomania is a mental
disorder which leads to fantasizing about being rich and
powerful. Pretending to be something they're not. Fronting.

The wealthy people who suffer from different kinds of
mental disorders are called eccentric. Calling them eccentric
sounds better than mad, crazy or insane. Rich folks think
they're t00 g0od to be called crazy when they act mentally
disturbed. Only the poor and oppressed are called crazy.

Those who refuse to be gencrous or charitable with their
great amounts of wealth are called misers. These people,
with all of their money and power, are miserably unhappy.
Most of them are insane. i

People who claim to be happy, but do not deserve
happiness, because they’re doing bad things, evil things.
like violating people’s human rights, are not happy at all
Truth of reality torments those who hate it. And, they’ll hate
you if you tell them the truth directly.

Some people murder their own family members for
insurance money. It takes someone who has totally lost their
mind to do such a thing without thinking of it as wrong.
Their outward appearance may not seem bad, but inside of
their mind and heart lives a demented (mad, crazy) monster.
Mental illness is a social (public) problem, not a private
one. People always do sickly things for money when
property relations arc placed above and against social
relations.

‘We must stop making the mistake of relying on symbolic
thought for solutions (answers) to Our problems (questions)
and how We view (see) the world. Symbols are substitutés
for the real thing. We've had more than enough of the fake
and phony. We have to think clearly in terms (conditions)
of concrete truth of reality. You are the only you that will
ever be you. That's why it is important you be yourself.
The pursuit (following, search) of happiness is not found
in glamour, illusion and lies. Living a phony life is hell.
Happiness is peace of mind; being in harmony with the true
nature of the universe. It's the sum total of doing all good
things for self and kind from the beginning of one’s life to
the end. This is the quality of a whole life. Wake-up
everybody!
COMBATIVE LITERATURE: '2
The Ideological War Which Influences
People’s Thinking And Actions

Consciousness (awareness) proceeds from objective
(material) social reality. Everything We learn or experience
is perceived (originate) and conceived (produced) through
Our senses such as hearing, sight, smell, touch, and taste.

What one does for a living, in relation to the means of
economic production, determines one’s consciousness,
though not all of it. That is to say, family relations, living
conditions, environment, school, religion, sports, political
activity, culture and experience in all facets (aspect or
phase) of society also determine one’s consciousness.

The few people who privately own and control the large
factories, corporations, heavy machinery, railroads,
transport, banks, savings and lon companies, energy power
plants, water, food, extensive real estate, prisons, huge sums
of natural resources of the land and sea; also, privately own
the major means of economic production. Together, this
results in the accumulation of immense wealth (money)
concentrated in their hands by extracting profits from the
labor of New Afrikan people and other poor, oppressed
nationalities.

These few rich and super-rich private owners of the
major means of economic production enjoy the highest
standard of living at the highest economic levels of society.
They dwell in opulence (extreme luxury), selfishness and
voracious greed, but don't work for a living. Why? People
who live at the lowest economic levels of society, and people
serving time in prison, do all the work making rich people
richer. The opulence of the wealthy flows from the
socioeconomic exploitation and oppression of the poor.

If We're not employed, or self-employed, in a job for
the benefit of Ourselves, Our families, Our communities,
and for the liberation of Our beloved people, then We're
working for the benefit of somebody else against Our

peoples’ vital interest. Under employment or working for
minimum wage is also bad because minimum wage is
another way of saying slave wage. Underemployment is
expressed in the rise of part-time and temporary work:
below poverty line minimum wage eanings; slashing of
gisability allowances; eliminating pension plans; mounting
medical expenses without requisite security of sick leave
insurance; and, increasing cuts in unemployment benefits.
National self-determination and meaningful job
employment are universal human rights! People without
adequate economic support will eat garbage and steal to
survive, or starve to death. Where is the human dignity in
working for slave wages, existing in poverty and
homelessness, begging for a job or depending on somebody
who doesn't care anything about you for a handout?
Ownership of the economic production process on a
large scale should not be in the private hands of a few people
and individuals. They are supposed to be socially or
publicly owned by the social producers, the labor force of
people who do the actual work. From each according to his
and her ability, to each according to his and her needs.
Ability is one’s capacity (what you're able to do). The
more you have the more you should give. Knowledge and
the physical capacity for work is part of what you give. IU's
2 moral obligation (what must be). People who need more
should get more. People who are able to do more should do
more. Everybody should willingly do what they can to share
in the work. Mass food production belongs under the
control of the laboring masses of the population so
everybody can eat with dignity. We must produce Our food
needs. The wealth of the land and sea must be carnestly
distributed among the social producers, thereby benefiting
the interests of society as a whole for its economic and social
well-being. The elderly, the needy, the poor and disabled
members of society, who are unable to earn a decent
livelihood for themselves, even though the opportunities
may exist, will benefit also. That is a fundamental (basic)
human right. But the United Snakes of Euro-amerikkka, the
colonialist rulers, are capitalist. They are against these types
of social, humanistic ideas. I}

Human nature everywhere is basically the same, as far
as human needs are concerned. The politically conscious,
the religious believers, the atheists, agnostics, the lettered
and leamed, whatever they want to call themselves, all want
the most beautiful, pleasant, finer things in life no matter
what the name of the economic system may be called. No
one people, or a minority few, has the right to claim the
land, the natural wealth, the animals, plants, and water for
themselves, and deny sharing these things with everybody
clse in society. Some people have greater means of wealth
than others. Everybody should contribute something
constructive towards the advancement of society, if they're
physically and mentally able to do so. Everybody should
be looked after. Those who have the most should pay the
most. Those who have the less pay the less. It’s the right
thing to do for the benefit of all, not only for a select
‘minority few. This type of economic productive distribution
system is known as scientific socialism.

The vicious conspiracy between European companies,
banks, churches and the government ruling classes to
institute (start, begin) the evil system of importing and
exporting Afrikan people as slaves resulted in the
accumulation of huge profits and power. Afrikan people
were imported to Europe and to the Western Hemisphere
(New World-West Indies) as a large source of cheap slave
Iabor, t0 do all the hard work in the mines, developing the
land, planting and harvesting crops. The fruits of the slaves
labor (the natural resources, cotton, hemp, silk, tobacco,
food, spices, sugar, beer, wine, whiskey, rum and other
products) were taken back on ships to European markets
for sale. Slavery is a barbaric economic system for private
profits. That's how the European imperialist nations
(including the U.S. Amerikkkan empire), through their
companies (corporations), got super-rich in the first place.
As already pointed out, consciousness proceeds from
objective social reality. Once you realize (become
conscious) that you're being dogged around by those few
who privately own the major means of economic
production, you get angry and want to get even! 5

Economics deals with the substance (material) and
maintenance (support) of life’s necessities; that is (o say.
land, food, water, air, clothes, shelter (housing), medical
care and education: the essential things We need to live.
The most important part of any economic system is social
production and construction (building), providing for Our
realistic, day-to-day needs, which are dialectically
connected to import, export, distribution consumption or
utilization of basic material necessities. We want to develop
a classless society where everybody will always have the
money they need and be looked after.

The ideas of the rich, powerful rulers of the United
Snakes of Euro-amerikkka, and their news media
companies, distort and ‘misdefine the words describing the
conditions of life of the oppressed people they dominate.
But, their ideas are not the only ones because, they are
constantly being challenged by the oppressed people
(masses) who want the truth made plain. This challenge. at
first, s critical protest leading to militant writing; a war of
words; a battle of social, economic and political ideas
between the people at the top and those on the bottom rung
of society.

The body of literature written in defense of the interest
of the oppressed is called combative literature. It has o be
objective, arouse human dignity and self-respect, and
satisfy the people’s need to know the truth. Moreover,
combative literature must be expressive of practical and
scientific knowledge about the corrupted economic and
political activities of the rich. Combative literature must
also show how the interests of powerful rulers extend
beyond the borders of their country to extract profits from
other nations’ labor forces, robbing them of their land and

natural resources, in violation of international law. This class
of rich people is imperialist. 16
Even more importantly, combative literature has an
uncompromising responsibility to humanity. It must,
without hesitation, conform to the genuine needs, ideology
(ideas), desires, aspirations, and will of the oppressed
people and reject all that goes against their social interests

in any shape, form or fashion. Combative literature should
also be the unified voice of the oppressed, and the written
words of their collective anger. It should encourage the
oppressed 1o fight back hard for their human rights.

The primary objective of combative literature is to
crystallize the contradictions and stir the youthful masses
10 direct action, to introduce military theory and discipline,
and 1o articulate the clear vision of the path to be taken in
pursuit of national independence. Combative literature must
also adequately inform the people, encourage hope and
inspire (motivate) conscious revolutionary thinking, and
the development of conscious revolutionary social practice.
Combative literature should strive to break the chains of
the evil system of imperialist, colonialist domination, by
any and all intelligent means necessary, including the use
of armed struggle.

THE ENEMY:
‘Who Are They?

The “Enemy”, as used in this context, consists of many
things. Among them are the enemy within (internal) and
the enemy without (external). They are dramatically
opposed to the New Afrikan (as well as all oppressed
peoples’) National Liberation Revolution. But who is “The
Enemy” (to you)?

Broadly speaking the enemy is the system of oppressive
government in the hands of people (ruling class, elite or
clique) from different backgrounds and molds of thinking
who intentionally violate the human rights of others. The
enemy forces the poor to scrap and scuffle to make ends
‘meet and pay bills. It's not hard to define or identify them
(the enemy). The following excerpt puts matters in
perspective: 17
“Who is ‘them’ (to you)? “Them’ is the local police or
the CIA; the landlord or the postal inspector; the kamp
official or the ‘beat representatives'; city hall or the state
capital. Would We be wrong in saying that there are as many
ways to define or identify ‘them’ as there are oppressive

and exploitative situations faced DAILY by ALL Our
people?”

In essence this means that the enemy is ‘slum-landlords’
and *sweatshop’ owners. The enemy is greedy capitalism.
imperialism, neo-colonialism, fascism, apartheid, and o on.
The enemy is oppression and cxploitation, tyrants and
despots. The enemy gives birth to injustice, inequity,
genocide, and all manner of atrocitis. The enemy uses these
Wicked concepts to cause adverse or negative
socioeconomic conditions and material circumstances that
precipitate the actions they want to happen to further their
insidious interests, including acts of war. This is the nature
and character of Our enemy.

The enemy propaganda press and media machine
manipulate the flow of disinformation (lics) to the public
and. in the process, manipulate people to be leery of one
another. The enemy hypnotizes you with slick, fraudulent,
deceptive, commercial advertising gimmicks to entice you
to buy junk food, and other things, that you would not
normally do under reasonable circumstances. The enemy
foels that they are above the law because they have money
and special privileges. They cause pollution of the

environment detrimental to all living things on the planet
Earth.

The enemy is the criminal police. They help keep the
oppressors (ruling class, elite or clique) in power, frame
innocent people on trumped up charges and they carry
license to murder the weak and helpless. As an official
policy and routine practice the enemy sanctions police
brutality and other crimes and miscall them, among other
things, “justifiable homicide.” The enemy is not only police
officers, or a small group of them, who commit crimes but,
also, their heavily armed and technological equipped
regular military machine (army, air force, navy, marines,
the state national guard, mercenarics), their allies, cronies
and henchmen. They (the enemy) conceal or hide themselves
behind legal mechanisms (the judicial court system,
legislation and executive orders) of the state.

Crime And Property Relations

In the United States of Amerikkka the value of a human
being, how important that person may be or what a person’s
life is worth, is determined by the amount of money they
have and by the private property they own.

As is well known, money talks! If you have it you can
say and do almost anything you want. In this case, crime
pays off. That being o, the U.S. govemment is nothing less
than a gangster organization. Its activities are criminal. Its
money and positions of power were obtained by illegal
means. The U.S. government even props up and supports
other corrupt governments around the globe.

Listen good people, by word and deed, Amerikkka is a
stomp down mud kicking [pimp]*. It s a political [pimping)
profiteer. U.S. government officials are legislative,
executive and judicial swindlers; the ones in high places
who seek bribes, coerce poor people to pay high taxes, and
who seek to keep the poor working people’s vote divided
5o they can remain in office. These are the scalawags (low-
ife) who have corrupted the fabric of society.

Government is about money. The purpose of this is to
provide human services to the citizens in an equal and
orderly collective manner. Government functions require
the raising and spending of money. The priorities and
policies of a government are revealed in how revenue

(money) is raised and in what way it is spent. The way this

The U.S. government, however, passes tax legislation,
which give great tax reductions to big corporations and
wealthy individuals, while the common everyday working
people and the poor are drained down to their last penny
and drop of blood.

‘The wealthy individuals and big corporations not only
have all the money and natural resources tied up in their
banks, but they also sell everything. They even sell you
garbage for food, death-dealing drugs, dangerous toys and
their own mother and other peoples’. They put a monetary
price on everything and cverybody.

‘The banks, and other finance companies, will also loan
you money, with strings attached, if you have a job. They
charge you high interest rates (tax) on every penny you
borrow. If you are unable to repay this money o the banks
they will send armed goons to pay you a visit. They'll
foreclose the mortgage on your home, repossess your
fumniture, clothes, car, farm, and land and rob you and cheat
you out of all the things you've worked for. They'll throw
you and your family, and all of your belongings, out into
the strees.

‘The violation of a woman’s body such as rape or for
sexual advertisement in any way is a noxious chemical
cloud poison as polluted air that blanket all countries as
crusader Euro-amerikkka. For example, standing on a
woman’s neck, or standing on her back boost the macho
(male) image of men, which is an expression of their own

psychological insecurity and hatred of their mother.
Anybody who acts this way is a criminal. The way one acts
refllects the way one thinks.

Men (and boys) are brainwashed and conditioned by
the ideas of the rulers of Euro-amerikkkan society to have

physical sexual contact or intercourse with s many women
as they can, which also leads to rape, robbery, burglary,
Kidnap and other sordid crimes. The Miss Universe Contest,

the Amerikkkan Beauty Pageant, Miss Amerikkka, Miss
World, Miss Teenage U.S.A., and 5o on, are prime examples

how women are projected (displayed) as luxury items up
for auction like a piece of tender meat for the profit and

The people to whom you pay your bills, the big
corporations, water and utility companics and wealthy
individuals commit crimes against the people in many ways.

fear, danger, lack of job opportunities, non-parental

together in large and small groups for their own protection,

on street comers. Now people in the community start to
fear the crowds of youth and label them gangs. They grow
older and as their numbers swell the street gangs become a
contending force in society, a challenge to the present social
order of authority.

Living in a society where the culture and environment
are criminally forced into existence and controlled by world
‘gangsters influences Our lives in many ways. It is a leamed
behavior passed on to the innocent children. Because this
i the type of stuff they see and hear all the time, they grow
up thinking negatively in their social relation with
themselves and other people. The innocent children seek

PERCEPTION OF MORALITY
Peoples’ perception of morality, among other things, is
determined by their relationship to the economic productive

forces in society.

What one does to earn a living influences ones social
consciousness. In this, living conditions, social conditions,
economic conditions and the way people interact with one
another in society also influence one’s social consciousness.

Politics is the gaining, maintaining and using power (o
decide who gets what, when, where and how. Politics is a
very serious business especially for politicians who look
upon it strictly as a business. They are the ones who rely on
the business of politics for their living: the politics of greed.

Corrupted government authorities are in the business
of sucking the economic lifeblood out of people. They
divide the people into classes according to their race,
nationality, sex, caste, creed, and whether or not they got
money or have a job. Those who don’t have a Job may tum
to crime to feed themselves and their family, or for other
reasons. When they get caught the corrupt government
punishes them with unjust laws. Corruption starts at the top
and rolls down hill, not up.

The administration of government is a moral
responsibility in every respect. A corrupted system of
govemment is an .imoral institution that undermines the
moral and legal foundation of a society.

Human beings naturally tend to imitate one another.
When the moral fabric that forms the structure consisting
of human relations between ideas, expressions, social,
political, economic production, philosophy and interests,

in any system of government, organization, or institution
break-down, deteriorate, decay and rot, people in that
society follow this same course and begin to accept savage,
barbaric immorality as a way of life.

Competent people are accountable for their own
conscious actions or inactions. Those without a sense of
morality have a tendency or willingness to think, act and
express interest in all types of vile language and corruption.
Some people in this category, class or group pretend to
restrain their actions; others couldn't care less. They have
10 appreciation for things that belong (o other people. And,

they act with deliberate indifference or insensitivity to
human suffering. 27

Any way you look at it, sex orgies, prostitution, foist
pornography, adultery, perversion, pimping, thievery.
gambling, bribery, child-abuse, drug-abuse, drunkenness
or alcoholism and wild parties, typically involving frenzied
singing, cursing, glutting of food, and corruption of every
sort, are all immoral activities. In that condition who can
call themselves good people?

For example, the process by which the food and wealth
of a nation is produced from the carth and distributed among
the people, more for the privileged few and very little or
none for the poor majority, may be a common socially
accepted fact of life in one class of society. But in another
class of society, it is looked down upon with utter disgust
and resentment when the food and wealth of a nation is
distributed disproportionately to the poor and oppressed.

This survey indicates that people are products of their
environment. Moral values are learned from relationships
with people in the different classes of a society beginning

in the milieu (environment) of the home, which extends to
the schools, work site, places of worship and other
institutions. What does one expect when bringing children
up in a corrupted milieu (environment)?

The brothers and sisters, who wish to transform society
so as to achieve liberation from oppression, to make
classlessness (socialism) the reality, to create a higher
quality of life and do away with corruption, defeat their
purpose by participating in corrupted dealings themselves.

Corruption, by definition, destroys the moral fabric of
society. The moral fabric of society and its relationship to
material things arc inseparable. People’s spirituality,
happiness and well being are directly related to material
output and consumption. That is, adequate good, clean air,
water, food, medicine, clothes, shelter, transportation, and
economic production.

Moral values, by definition, apply to all people
everywhere. That being so, morals are the socially accepted
standards of conduct or behavior of life established upon
universal principles. On the other hand, anyone can justify
their conduct or behavior by a specific code of ethics,
although it may be wrong or immoral, depending upon one’s
conscious outlook. Z

Ethics pertain to the manner of conduct or behavior
precisely specified within a particular class, group, or
community, emphasizing more objective, but idealistic,
moral standards of right and wrong. Ethics specify the code
of conduct regarded as proper or improper by members of
a profession. A code of ethics also relates to the guidelines
or policies made and agreed upon by members of an
organization engaged in advanced study or practicing a
profession.

One’s particular attitudes of fidelity, loyalty, or integrity
are determined by the level of one’s moral value and code
of ethics in relationship to the economic productive forces
in society, and in all other human activity.

The home environment and the work place have the
greatest influence on the human psyche. The victims of
abuse, incest, and neglect by family members and by others
they trusted, are painful to recall. The memories hurt. The
combination of physical and psychological (emotional) pain
experienced in one's youth (including accidents and honest
mistakes) also influences one’s social consciousness.

A child does not select the path their life will take. That
decision is made for them. More often than not, they
continue to follow the same general path regardless of the
consequences, right o wrong. Their experiences along the
way influence their thinking. All hope is not lost for a child
who has been placed on the abominable path of immorality.
Many have been pulled from the depths of despair, and
many more shall be liberated in the future.

Corruption is a serious impediment to Our freedom
struggle. It would be insane for any committed
revolutionary to knowingly o intentionally partake in
debauchery. Our families are on the brink of destruction
because of corruption. We should communicate with one
another clearly, openly and honestly. Communication
includes being a good listener and giving respect. 30

The illicit drug culture causes people to be fearful,
suspicious and extremely ‘mistrustful of one another. It has
1o benefit to the growth and development of society, not
even from the multi-millions in monetary profits
accumulated from illicit drug and alcohol sales. Corruption

is an internal enemy. It destroys from within. People who
wish to transform society for a much better quality of life
must fight tooth and nail to resist all manifestations of
corruption. Victory for Us depends upon Our total
commitment to effectuating revolutionary change. The
moral of all of this is three-fold.

First, human beings are socialistic by nature. As a way
of life, We congregate and assemble in large and small
groups. It is an integral part of Our progressive culture.
Sharing in work and responsibility is natural, healthy,
human social activity.

Second, true revolutionary conduct is inseparable from
revolutionary thinking and analyzing the world. Serving
the people is a moral duty that requires us to organize broad
based and local socialist, community programs, to practice
economic self-reliance and self-defense. Integrity is a trait
of true revolutionaries. Peoples’ trust must be diligently
camed and never betrayed.

Third, the responsibility for developing revolutionary
socio-economic culture and concrete codes of ethics for
success rests upon the shoulders of the people who
comprise the revolutionary party, which is the highest
expression of the working class masses. Each revolutionary
party member must be responsible and accountable for
exposing contradictions, maintaining philosophical
consistency and setting the clear tone as revolutionary
leadership, cadre.

The Colonialist Settler State

Broadly speaking, when people first meet others of a
different nationality, they judge and form opinions about
them according to their own cultural standards, language,
and ways of doing things. That is to say, if We eat food with
a spoon and fork, when We first meet others, We expect
them to eat their food the same way until We learn more
about their culture. But, as a distinct group, most white
people benefit from the continued existence of the Euro-
amerikkkan empire’s parasitic nature. Even though there
are poor and oppressed white people (Europeans-
Caucasians), as well, they’re still able to enjoy in varying
degrees, the privilege of having white skin accentuated by
a long historical attitude of smug arrogance and
indifference towards other peoples” cultures. In the process,
these very same poor and oppressed white people
(Europeans-Caucasians) have become unwitting victims of
their own economic system of national class divisions,
inculcated with the social mythos and cultural biases of
white supremacy.

The United Snakes of North Euro-amerikkkan
government, the manifest destiny policy makers, the
affluent financiers, the ones who control big business
enterprises consisting of many widely diversified
companies, the shapers of public opinion who promote and
reflect specific, self serving interests, the colonial
educational committee board members and the scholars and
scientists who mirror the ideas of the ruling class have an
unbridled habit of always boasting and carrying on about
North Euro-amerikkkan superiority. They are sarcastically
critical of other people’s shortcomings and so paranoid and
defensive about their own.

Moreover, they mistrust people of different nationalities
and culture, especially if you are non-white (Afrikan, Asian,
Latino). They mistrust you if you do not act as they act,
walk as they walk, see things their way, like the same things
they like, dislike the same things they dislike, think the way
they think, or be the way they want you to be. They find it
hard to trust the ancestors of Afrikan slaves and indigenous
nations in the western hemisphere.

Some white people invite New Afrikan people, for
example, to come over to their homes so they will be seen
by their white neighbors. They also take pictures, go to
church, school, work, and join organizations with New
Afrikan people. They feel guilty about the manner in which
New Afrikan folks have been (and still is) mistreated
historically, by other whites. This guilt fecling is often
exaggerated (enlarged beyond what is actual or true) and
turned into fear. The abnormal psychology, of all this
exaggerated guilt, produces irrational fear responses.

Deep inside the collective subconscious of most (but
not all) white folks is a dislike for two or more New Afrikan
people to talk with one another around them if they don't
know what is being said. The collective subconscious
dislike causes them to create phobias in their own minds, a
psychological fear that New Afrikan people are plotting
against them. This phobia or psychological fear runs much
decper with the thought that they will lose something when
New Afrikan people are free and independent. So, they try

to get physically close to New Afrikan folks and other
people of different nationalities as possible. They watch
and observe closely; they want to know what you are doing
at all times. For the people who can get close enough to
harm you are the ones you trust.

It was Europeans who plotted against the land of Afrika
and her peoples centuries ago. They used wicked lies, deceit
and deception to divide and rule. That could only be done,
not because the Europeans had bombs and bullets, but after
they first found a way to get close to them to win their trust.
The greatest obstacle to the European invaders was the unity
and organization of the indigenous people. That's what the
Europeans feared most. As it was then, 50 it is now.
Some Caucasians (Europeans) do not fully understand
or overstand many of their own inner feelings they harbor
about other nationalities. But the deep-seated uneasiness
is still there. They try their best to hide or conceal the fear.
But it does not go away. It lingers and grows, showing
outwardly. 33

Caucasian is the name of the white nations or tribes in
Europe. They get their name from the “Caucasus
Mountains” where many had lived in the rugged hills and
caves between the Black and Azov Seas in the North and
Southwest Europe, and the Caspian Sea in the East.
Archacological (the study of past human life) finds of
ancient human skeletal remains were dug up in this rugged
mountainous region and named “Caucasian”, relating to
its native inhabitants, because early European scientists
thought human life began there.

“For the white race,” wrote J.A. Rogers in his book Sex
And Race Volume I, page 24 (1967), “Blumenbach coined

the word ‘Caucasian’, and he did it in a manner
characteristic of much of what still passes for science in all
matters of race. In his collection of skulls was one of a
woman found on Mt. Caucasus in Georgia, Asiatic Russia.”

The same was thought about the ancient human type
remains found in the Neander valley in Germany called
“Neanderthal Man", like those found in Java, Indonesia was
called “Java Man". As a whole, Europeans are classified as
“Caucasian”. North Euro-amerikkkans are Caucasians.
White people are Caucasians. To varying degrees they're
classified as one in the same. The only difference being in
the name of their individual national or tribal identity:
Saxons, Angles, Scythians, Goths, Aguls, Vandals and so
on.

Prospects for a consolidated, emerging working class
movement, anywhere in the world, are viewed as a deadly
threat to imperialism. Solidarity is unity and unity is
strength-power. Those whites ho fear the coming together
and principled unity of ALL AFRICAN PEOPLE worldwide
are somewhat relaxed or at ease when We are smiling,
Jaughing, jumping up and down, talking loud, acting
foolishly and fighting one another. But when We are serious
about something and get quiet, then. they (white people)
get worried. Some ask; “What's the problem?” “Do you
want to talk about it?" “Is anything wrong?” “Are you
fecling well?” “Is there anything that i can do for you?”
“Can you use some money?” 34

New Afrikans in Amerikkka, and Azanians (Afrikans)
in Southern Afrika, and all Afrikan people in European
countries and in other parts of the world, are subjugated
under colonial and neo-colonial rule. Many whites claim
to be friends standing with the downtrodden. Be that as it
may, these same so-called friends deny all Afrikan people
in these countries the fundamental human rights to self-
determination, total liberation and economic independence.
They wish to represent the plight of all Afrikans as a
struggle against white supremacist racism instead of against
colonialism, neo-colonialism and imperialist oppression.

These so-called friends direct their attention on
symptoms of oppression, while at the same time
compromising (agreement) with the very same system that
causes political oppression. Any way you look at it, white
people, especially those inside the Amerikkkan empire, are
connected ideologically, socially, culturally and
economically to the interests of the ruling class few,
disguised as a democracy. But it's acwally, as brother El-
Hajj Malik El-Shabazz said, ...nothing but disguised
hypocrisy...”

Democracy is an elusive term, if you accept the meaning
or definition put on it by the imperialist ruling class.
Sometimes it scems almost impossible to grasp. Because
the ruling class definition of democracy always excludes
the popular will. By long usage, in imperialist circles,
democracy has become the private title for an exclusive,
clite group. Imperialist democracy is a bourgeoisie
democracy. It is a democracy for the bourgeoisie. They vote
and make agreements between themselves about foreign
and domestic government policies and interests. The
concept of Euro-amerikkkan governmental democracy,
involving the whole people regardless of race, creed, color,
sex, religion or national origin, is a myth; the mish-mash of
politically motivated distortions, fictitious insinuations and
downright lies, propagated by the ruling class. The
domination, economic exploitation, and mass control of the
social forces (laborers and consumers), is not genuine
democracy, in actuality it is a plutocracy. The bourgeoisic
ruling class are plutocrats. The imperialist government of
the United Snakes of Euro-amerikkka is a racist colonial
settler state empire ruled by plutocrats. 35

The end of white supremacist racism is not the total
solution to the problem of subjugation. Because racism is
those individual Caucasians and their lackeys carrying out
the policy or course of action of colonialism, the domination
and control of one nationality or ethnic group over another
for economic exploitation by force. Among the affects
(influence) and effects (result) of colonialism upon the
subject (subjugated) people is physical and mental illness.

Neo-colonialism is a new or recent form of colonial
domination. Domestic colonialism is also neo-colonialism.
‘The elected and appointed New Afrikan officials approved
by the ruling class colonial masters, in the u.s. system of
monopoly finance government, are neo-colonial puppets
(sycophants) who are used by white folks to hold down
their own people. So the people being oppressed by others
of the same nationality can't scream racism. They become
confused and misled as to who the enemy is that deprives
them of their basic material needs.

‘This type of reactionary arrangement gives the illusion
that racism or racial discrimination does not exist anymore.
‘The discontented masses are then momentarily pacified with
a few concessions: Aid to Families with Dependent Children
(A.ED.C.), low income housing projects, summer youth jobs,
food stamps, government cheese, powdered milk and other
hand-outs, whereby temporarily prolonging the life span
of a moribund colonialism. The most tragic part of this,
above all, is that sycophants (Uncle and Auntie Toms) can
often advance the interest of white supremacy, and greedy
lap-dog privilege, with every bit as much vile energy as
the white racists themselves. 3L

A castle is a fort or fortified, stronghold building
dominating the surrounding country and held by a
subservient of a ruler in feudal societies, especially in
medieval (Middle Ages) Europe. Many castles were
converted to residential use and mansions. Some people
make-believe they live in castles in the air to insulate
themselves from reality. But there is no such thing as safety
from the double cutting edge of truth. In other words, you
can run, but you cannot hide from yourself. Nobody can
escape truth, because We are the physical body of it.

We have to face the reality that both New Afrikans and
Caucasians (and other nationalities) have been drastically
affected by the peculiar institution of chattel slavery.
Colonialist domination over New Afrikan people inside the

Regardess of what you may think, there is no safe place in
the universe for you. The enemy of your people gives you
token jobs and allows some of you to be professional
entertziners and movie stars. People pay money to see you
play sports, dance, and to hear you preach, sing and tell
Jokes. But when you get rich you often forget that it was
the poor and oppressed who made you rich, and support
you on their shoulders.

Every Uncle Tom, neo-colonial puppet, sycophant, ot
bootlicker is not necessarily rich or wealthy, however. Some
Uncle Toms are marginally (barely) employed, or
unemployed. Nevertheless, they still bend over backwards
o join the enemy against their own people. They think We
will always be unorganized, fragmented, weak and unable
{0 enforce Our demands for reparations, and freedom from
colonialist domination. But they are drastically mistaken.

The present strength and power of the enemy is
\emporary and flecting. The enemy cannot give you (Uncle
Toms) lasting security, nor protect you from your inevitable
downfall and destruction. One of the signs of the coming
of your certain doom is seen when the poor and oppressed
masses awaken to a higher level of social and political
consciousness. This is your last opportunity to get your act
together before your show gets canceled, permanently!

This is a humble warning to you all. A waming is a sign

poor. Because when you love someone you make a strong
commitment to them. You give them your attention and your
devotion. You act the way you think. You stretch your lips

shaking your behinds and shuffling your feet, amusing
crooked moneychangers and land thieves. You turn a blind
eye o the suffering of the poor and oppressed. You ignore
injustice and human rights violations perpetrated by the

All of your strivings and energies should be geared
towards helping to win ultimate liberation, genuine
independence, economic self-reliance and a higher
meaning and form of justice for the poor and oppressed.

expose the contradictions of their international crimes.
Injustice, among other things, is an abusc of power. The
exploitation of peoples’ labor for profit is an injustice.
Speak out and use your talents in defense of the
downtrodden. There is much to be done, and more to do,
that will help those in need of love and care to make it
through the difficult nights and days. Having the material

things that We need to live well forms the essential basis
for Our economic independence. The money that is taken
out of Our communities must be brought back.

If you wish to have the grace and the continued support
of the poor, use your talents, expertise and money to support
the movement of the oppressed to be free from colonialist
domination. Those who fail to do so will suffer a terrible
chastisement. Uncle Toms will be criticized with the

will not exist for you anymore. A bad name shall be your
title. It shall be bloody and ugly for you, because your
